Hi! I'm Megan — founder of Paws & Relax. I believe every dog deserves patient, positive grooming that feels like a spa day rather than a chore.
I'm trained in fear-free handling and I'll always go at your dog's pace. Based in Southwater, near Horsham in West Sussex, I welcome dogs of all breeds and temperaments.

Everything you need to know before booking your dog's groom.
Usually 1.5–2.5 hours depending on size, coat and temperament. We never rush — every dog gets the time they need for a calm, thorough groom.
Yes. We use calm, reward-based handling and can split sessions to keep things positive. Paws and Relax specialises in fear-free grooming for anxious dogs of all breeds.
We recommend standard vaccinations and flea/tick protection. Please let us know of any medical issues or allergies so we can tailor the groom accordingly.
Paws and Relax is based in Southwater, just south of Horsham in West Sussex. We welcome dogs from everywhere! We're especially popular with owners from Horsham, Southwater, Broadbridge Heath, Billingshurst, Cranleigh, and surrounding villages.
You can book your first puppy groom two weeks after the last vaccination. We would then recommend having these sessions every four weeks until six months to ensure they are fully desensitised and ready for the first adult groom.
